2021 Ohio Online All-Girls Championship

Tournament Description:
Conducted on Lichess, the 2021 Ohio Online All-Girls Championship Tournament was open to girls in grades K-12 who are Ohio residents or enrolled in an Ohio school. With a time limit of G/30 + 5 for the U-1200 section, trophies were mailed home to all players scoring 3.5 or higher, and top 2 teams (schools) in each section, based on adding the best 4 individual scores.

Academy Results
➢ In all, a total of 3 RK Chess Gurukul Students placed in the Top 10 in their U-1200 section! This tournament featured the strongest female chess players from the state of Ohio!
♟. Of this, one player placed 1st in the section!
- Diya placed 1st with an undefeated score of 4.5/5.0 in U-1200!
➢ Though the students could not earn a club-level Team trophy as this was a school-level tournament, our students teamed up with Mason Intermediate School and won the 1st place Team Trophy for their school! This is the first time Mason has earned Top Team Honors at the State-level!
